Learning the Yaku - An attempt to break down the many yaku of Riichi Mahjong in an order that is more accessible to a new player
EMA Rules PDF, Fixed - The rules PDF of the European Mahjong Association is, for the most part, a well-written document with nice cover art and typesetting - but it contains a few unfortunate typos:
- Sections 1.1 and 1.2: Incorrect labels for suits and honours
- Section 4.2.2: Formatting not applied to honroutou header
It may be years before the EMA issue a revision, so, with the assistance of PDF manipulation tool qpdf, I have produced a version with those errors corrected. Distributed here under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License as per the footer of the origin site, http://mahjong-europe.org - or possibly just Attribution-ShareAlike - it's hard to tell what is intended when the origin site mentions one licence textually whilst hyperlinking to a different license on creativecommons.org!
